Do you wish there was a non-judgmental conversation around sexual identity and sexuality? That helps youth understand what respect and healthy relationships look like for them? Do you wish there was a sexuality educational program that has gay, lesbian, trans, and queer authors? One that’s open and affirming, expansive and inclusive? That’s what Our Whole Lives is!
Our Whole Lives is a comprehensive, open and affirming human sexuality curriculum designed by the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalist Association. It is based on the central values of Self-Worth, Sexual Health, Responsibility, and Justice & Inclusivity. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information and helps them to clarify their own values so they can make healthy decisions with their own relationships.
This program is free for all, though we do recommend a $100 donation to the Youth Fund which makes this program possible.
Interested in taking part in this exciting and transformative program? The first step is to join in for the Mandatory Parents' Meeting on Saturday, Sept 16 from 1:00-3:00pm at Umstead Park UCC (8208 Brownleigh Dr, Raleigh 27617).
