 Adult Education opportunities are currently consistently offered each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Forum, as we call it, provides an eclectic approach with past offerings varying from faith journeys to Bible studies to book reviews to guest presenters on social concerns such as health care to all and current US policy in Colombia. A premium is placed on discussion and interaction in these forums, though quiet observers are welcome as well! For a schedule of upcoming forums, see the calendar in this month’s newsletter.- In addition to the Forums, the Adult Education committee sponsors occasional book studies in the evening (a sampling of past offerings include John Shelby Spong’s “A New Christianity for a New World”, Robert McLaughlin’s “Remedial Christianity”, Marcus Borg’s “The Heart of Christianity” and Elaine Pagel’s “Beyond Belief: The Secret Gospel of Thomas.”
