  MARDI GRAS MINGLE & ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICES


Please join us on Tuesday, February 16 for a pancake supper as we come together and figuratively clean out our pantries to mark the last day before Lent begins. This evening will feature a pancake topping bar with a smorgasbord of fixin’s. The pancake bar will be stocked from 6 until 7:30, so plan to arrive somewhere during that time as it best suits your situation and schedule (we know it’s a school night for some!). There will be music and some activities to help you mingle with other Covenant Partners. Don’t forget you can also literally clean out your pantries by bringing a food donation for Urban Ministries.

Ash Wednesday Service Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, February 17. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. you are invited to a drop-in meditation/ communion time in our worship space. You are especially welcome to come and consider your spiritual disciplines during Lent. You may stay briefly or for a longer period. Written meditations, music, the imposition of ashes and communion will be provided to assist in your silent prayers and contemplation. All ages welcome.
